Today I’d like to share a video with you. I found out about it a couple of weeks ago, but it has been a while coming…
You see in February this year (2008) I went to Korea (with 9 other dancers) to film for a corporate video for Hyundai. It was a great experience - long days and minus temperatures while dancing and waiting (for camera and lighting changes) in our silver lycra unitard, but a lot of fun.
When we got back I was really interested in seeing the final product, but knew that it would be a while for them to finish filming all the actual car stuff, and then in post-production, but after months and months I’d kind of forgotten about it.
One of my friends, Atatlie Wilmoth - who is an amazing dancer, teacher and actually choreographed for the job in Korea - managed to track down the clip which is now on You Tube!
Of course for all the dancing we did and filmed there is only a very small amount used in the clip (it is after all for a car company), but you’ll be pleased to know that the 2nd last shot they use (before flicking to the Hyundai logo) is me.
Have a watch and let me know what you think.
